Intelligent Voice is pleased to announce the release of Intelligent Voice version 6.2.0.
This release contains improvements and bug fixes across all components.

This release is not an automatic upgrade to a default IV 6.1 installation. See the Downloads page for details on how to upgrade.
Identity Management
New feature added which provides the ability to passively enrol speakers based on supplied metadata:
Automatically identifies different speakers in an audio recording and securely manages their identities as SHA2 hashes.
Performs speaker Diarization to separate audio into speaker segments, verifies known speakers against an Identity Management Database, and can passively enrol new speakers.
New Sentiment Model
New sentiment model v5.0 support added, the model is multilingual and provides better accuracy than the previous models on a multilingual test set.
Health Check Improvements
A range of new and improved health checks to more accurately report the health of containers.
Tagger Support
Improvements for Chinese (
zh
) tags and refinements for tags in writing systems without word boundaries, such as Chinese, Japanese and Thai.
Library updates and patches
These libraries have received major updates, which include security updates. These updates are not considered urgent as the nature of their deployment in IV means the vulnerability cannot be exploited.
ASR and LMBuilder pytorch image updated to 24.03.
Transformers version updated to address CVE-2023-7018 and CVE-2023-6730 in ASR and LMBuilder.
Multiple base images updated from Debian 11 (bullseye) to 12 (bookworm). This includes a new version of curl which is not subject to false positive detections of CVE-2023-38545.
Pillow updated in Sentiment, Credibility and OCR to address CVE-2023-50447.
Supported operating systems
This release deprecates support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, which goes out of maintenance support on June 30th, 2024, and adds supports for Rocky Linux. The supported operating systems for this release are:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 (recommended) or 8
Oracle Linux 9 (recommended) or 8
Rocky Linux 9 (recommended) or 8
Ubuntu 22.04 (recommended) or 20.04
