Intelligent Voice is pleased to announce the release of Intelligent Voice version 6.0.
This is a major new release containing improvements and bug fixes.
Voice Biometric clustering
Diarization Worker has been enhanced with voice biometric features which, if enabled, it will passive enrol detected speakers in the call. The feature is optional and selectable when doing an import into IV.
Together with it comes also Voice Biometric Worker that has been added to the fleet in case active enrolment of the speakers is needed. New APIs available with examples showing how to enable and use this feature.
This new feature is dependent on Elastic Search which installation is optional in the app node installer. More details here.
Transcript Summarizer Worker has been added to the fleet of core components shipped with the installer. The new functionality is optional and selectable when doing an import into IV and the result can be seen in the new section in the Smart Transcript or retrievable via new APIs.
Finally the last components of the application have been containerized: MariaDB, vrxServlet, JumpToWebAPI.
This is a major improvement as it drastically reduces the software footprint on the host machine and enables also Automatic Security Updates and Faster Release of components.
Automatic Security Updates and Faster Release of components
Now that the application is fully containerized, security updates and new versions of each components can be released and installed individually and at a faster pace.
This is also possible thanks to an improved tagging strategy of the docker images and the big effort we put on the setup of Azure Pipelines.
V1 API deprecation
This change helps to improve security as it allowed the removal of some old code and its dependencies.
Import Complete including Sentiment and Fraud Detection
Major refactoring has been done in this area to fix a few bugs and handle in the workflow the addition of the new processing options such as Transcript Summarization.
With the changes, also LexiQal Workers have been addressed to finally include them in the definition of import complete.
Nvidia Triton Server Upgrade
New Triton 23.02 is replacing the previous 22.04.
Diarization processing now is partially shifted on Triton for performance improvements.
Also a new Diarization algorithm has been added to improve accuracy.
The upgrade is only possible for systems running on IV 5.4. No other versions are supported to jump directly to IV 6.0.
Increased System Requirements
The application is now hungrier, so based on the new IV features you might want to use, make sure your server has enough resources to handle the additional processes.
