Intelligent Voice Ltd is pleased to announce the release of Intelligent Voice version 6.0.
This is a major new release containing improvements and bug fixes.
Voice Biometric clustering
Diarization Worker has been enhanced with voice biometric features which, if enabled, it will passively enrol detected speakers in the call. The feature is optional and selectable when doing an import into IV.
The new Voice Biometric Worker provides active enrolment of the speakers, using new APIs.
This new feature additionally requires Elasticsearch
Transcript Summarizer Worker has been added to the fleet of core components shipped with the installer. The new functionality is optional and selectable when doing an import into IV and the result can be seen in the new section in the Smart Transcript or retrievable via new APIs.
New universal installer
A new installer is available which replaces all the individual installers. This installer is much smaller and simpler, and also introduces a number of new capabilities, like automated installation, and installing onto several servers at once.
In version 6.0 only Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 is supported. Support for more versions of Red Hat and for Ubuntu is coming in version 6.1
All components are now supplied as container images.
Automatic Security Updates and Faster Release of components
Now that the application is fully containerized, security updates and new versions of each components can be released and installed individually and at a faster pace.
To enable this, every image is now tagged with compatible IV versions.
V1 API deprecation
This change helps to improve security as it allowed the removal of some old code and its dependencies.
Import Complete status now includes Sentiment and Fraud Detection
Major refactoring has been done in this area to fix a few bugs and handle in the workflow the addition of the new processing options such as Transcript Summarization.
With the changes, also LexiQal (fraud detection) jobs have been addressed to include them in the definition of import complete.
Nvidia Triton Server Upgrade
New Triton 23.02 is replacing the previous 22.04.
Diarization processing now is partially shifted on Triton for performance improvements.
Also a new Diarization algorithm has been added to improve accuracy.
Upgrades via the old installers are only supported for IV systems running on IV 5.4 or later. Earlier versions must upgrade to 5.4 first.
